Converting face-to-face to online learning.

The Challenge

MiHR required a partner with experience in converting face-to-face to online learning, taking existing classroom materials and creating effective, engaging online programs featuring a mix of delivery methods. The online and blended versions needed to deliver the same outcomes as the classroom versions, and provide an engaging experience for the learners. 4Forward was well suited to meet these needs.

4Forward brought a level of clarity that we had not seen from other firms. They didn’t bombard us with jargon or complicated training models – just a clear plan to help us get what we needed.

The Process

We adapted the existing classroom program for online and blended delivery, with a mix of virtual (webinar-style) delivery and self-directed eLearning. Focusing on maximizing learner engagement, we employed the 4Forward approach, taking four steps forward (industry, trainer, learner, and co-workers) as we converted the classroom material.

The Result

MiHR now has twelve well designed modules, including a Train-the -Trainer package. These modules contain eLearning, guides for virtual facilitation, and learner resources. MiHR and its partners can now flexibly deliver over a wide geography to many more learners.
