Leadership, Management and Staff Development Resources

4Forward has led the design and development of numerous training resources for THRC (previously known as CTHRC), including online resources, orientation courses, self-directed workbooks, and instructor manuals. All resources were learner-centred and emphasized hands-on experiential learning, case studies, and relevant, practical scenarios. All resources included evaluation materials and answer keys. The courses and other learning resources have been delivered nationwide to a wide range of audiences of various ethnic and linguistic backgrounds. One of these resources – The Food and Beverage Manager Instructor’s Guide – covered many management topics including Human Resource Management (hiring, orientation, team building, and evaluation), Risk Management, Leadership (communication, effectiveness), Managing Work (planning and goal setting), and Self-Management (time management, communication).
