Our 5-step process
Our process allows us to design outstanding custom training that’s tailored to your organization’s unique needs.
STEP ONE Understand
To serve you best, we need a clear understanding of your organization and your goals for the project. We can conduct interviews, surveys, research and/or focus groups with your organization’s leaders, managers and staff. At the end of this step, we’ll report on our findings.
STEP TWO Design
With a foundation of understanding, we’ll create a detailed learning plan designed to meet your objectives using your preferred delivery methods. The learning plan will outline the training objectives, training content and learning activities. You’ll be invited to review, provide feedback and approve the design.
STEP THREE Develop
Once you approve the design, we’ll start developing course contents. This is where our curiosity and creativity come into play as we sink into your subject matter. You’ll be invited to take part in regular conversations to answer questions, provide guidance and approve content and materials.
STEP FOUR Deliver
When the training content and materials are finalized, we’ll give you everything you need to pilot it with your learners—an exciting milestone! After your first group goes through the training, we’ll review their feedback and make course corrections as needed.
STEP FIVE Evaluate
Once the training program is underway, we can analyze its effectiveness at 6 months and again at 12 months. These checkpoints give us the opportunity to modify the curriculum, materials and delivery to optimize the training program and make sure it’s sustainable for your organization.
It depends on the project. Shorter projects can take a few weeks, while larger and more complex projects can take a year to complete. On average, most of our projects take about three months from start to finish.
Ideally, you’ll be able to provide a clear end goal and a rough idea of how you’d like to get there. Once the project is underway, it will be helpful if you can provide background material, access to experts, and feedback on outlines, drafts and the final deliverable.
If you have a Learning Management System (LMS), we’ll help you upload your custom training. If you don’t have an LMS, we can advise you on your options, for example, launching eLearning on a secure website.
